Assistant Principal

Mrs. Jesi Brooks

My name is Jesi Brooks. It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal of Johnson Elementary School. I am honored to serve this amazing team of educators, students, and parents in this new role.
I have seven years of experience in education. I have previously served as a fourth and fifth-grade classroom teacher, and most recently, first through fourth-grade gifted education teacher at JES. I am a JES and MHS alumni and a graduate of Shorter University, and The University of West Georgia. I am also currently pursuing my Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership at Liberty University. I am excited to serve the JES community in a new position and contribute to its continued success.

As Assistant Principal, my goal is to uphold the core values of JES. This community is my home and this school is where I first developed a love for learning. I am passionate about education and our school culture and will continue to uphold our positive and inclusive learning environment for all students. I am committed to fostering relationships with students, parents, and staff members and ensuring that every student receives a high-quality education that prepares them for success in life.  

It is an honor to receive this opportunity to lead and serve our students and staff members at JES. I am fully committed to fulfilling the responsibilities of this position to the best of my abilities and will do so with integrity, honesty, and dedication to our school and community. I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and I look forward to supporting the continued success of our students and teachers here at Johnson.
